Addiction is something everyone can relate to at some point in their life, whether
it’s within yourself or through another person. It comes in many forms, most people are embarrassed by it, can’t admit it or sometimes even blind to the situation themselves. I use these iconic symbols that are direct but also vague, leaving the viewer to resonate with the substance how they choose to relate to the piece. Reflecting how we as humans have this idea that we need these added substances in life to make everything surrounding us restored and without it we will crumble.
